The Haven Beach Shop & Cafe

Simply the best - have been coming here for years and years to have this crab sandwich served on the softest of brown breads with most tasty salads - it's really hard to describe.... but we've tried (and failed) to recreate this at home and no specialty bakers breads beats this... not to mention the freshness of the crab....and the salad??! everytime is slightly different and yet super tasty selection of quinoa / beans / chicken peas / lettuce / sweet corn / olives / tomatoes / beetroot.... etc etc... mouth watering just trying to describe it. Cannot wait for next time we can stop by and experience this heaven the mouth.

We dropped in as a family of five on a Sunday afternoon for a quick cake and drink. We were too late for prepared meals, but were made to feel very welcome and there was still plenty of choice of nice cakes and drinks. I had a cream tea which was sublime. A wonderful stop off with a stunning view, lovely beach and direct access to the South West Coast Path. Highly recommended.

We came upon this place by happy accident and were glad we did. The food was amazing, especially the bread pudding, and the views are beautiful. It wasn't too busy and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be returning before we go home

The Best crab sandwichs in Cornwall ! I found out about this place from my best friend who said he has been coming here for crab sandwiches with his mum and Dad since the early 1970s !

Right on the S.W Coast path that im walking...Had their signature crab sandwich...sooooo tasty!!!! Really great coffee too. You are right in the harbour...a perfect place to stop for lunch.

Lovely little cafe in Crackington Haven. I fancied a crab salad sandwich and googled where the best crab sandwiches were near Bude and this place came up. Lovely friendly service and the crab sandwiches were obviously fresh and so beautifully presented with an imaginative salad garnish. There were even edible flowers, all presented on cute glass fish plates. Rarely have I seen such pride and passion gone into serving up food. I therefore shout out recommendations from the rooftops and hope the cafe enjoys success and never dumb down their service or food.

Lovely visit to this cafe after a wet and windy walk on Crackington Beach. Dog friendly. Food was delicious. Nice hot drinks. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Will definitely be visiting again.
